The Transform Parenting Centre offers a selection of programs that have been designed from Tracey Anderson Askew’s 20 years of experience working with new parents.
Transform Parenting is about transforming yourself, to grow with your children.
We offer free weekly zoom sessions, called ‘Keeping relaxed and excited about birth.’
Our ‘Transform Your Birth Course,’ (formerly Calmbirth Canberra) has been the gold standard of childbirth education for the past 16 years, referred to by leading doctors and midwives.
‘Thriving as a new parent‘, is a wonderful 10 week program focusing more on the parents, and creating a beautiful community of support.
Parent education, coaching and parent therapy are all there to keep you well and supported during this important time.
If you are planning a cesarean section, we recommend booking a private 2-hour session with Tracey. This session will cover specific topics relevant when having a cesarean, such as: preparing for the birth, the role of the mind in birth, breathing physiology, relaxation and visualisation, and the partner’s role in the birth. A private session costs $350.
Payment plans can be arranged for families struggling financially. Please contact hello@transformparenting.com.au after enrolment if you wish to organise a payment plan for the remaining $400 amount. Please note: A $30 administration fee will apply and all payments must be paid prior to commencing the class.
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is payable upon enrollment in the Transform Your Birth course. The remaining balance is refundable up until seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the course. A refund of the balance after this date will be considered in exceptional circumstances such as premature birthing, and is at the discretion of the Course Facilitator.
It may be possible to claim for a health rebate for Transform Your Birth courses with some insurance providers.
Tracey is a registered and accredited Childbirth Educator. Courses with Tracey can be claimed using the following NIB provider number: 10196302.
In order to claim your course, we recommend contacting your health provider first to ensure that it is claimable. You can then contact our office at hello@transformparenting.com.au to obtain a detailed invoice if required.
Transform Parenting has always provided our services and programs regardless of financial status, through our sponsorship fund that is contributed to by other generous participants and local businesses who have seen the value of what we do. Now more than ever, we are aware of the financial challenges some families are facing and want to once again highlight our commitment to supporting you through this precious time of preparing for your baby.
We have the following options;
- Pay the advertised course fee, for Transform your birth, which is $550.
- Use our discount code COVID, to receive $100 off your course fee.
- Pay what you can afford, apply HERE by nominating the amount you can afford.
- Pay our sponsorship fund amount of $650, which enables us to subsidise other families who may not be able to afford these valuable services. You have this option when booking when booking
