Q I am pregnant, when should I book in to see a Women’s Health Physiotherapist?

You can book in at any time after finding out you are pregnant. We recommend waiting until you are at least 12 weeks.

Q I have had my baby, when should I book in to see a Women’s Health Physiotherapist?

We recommend booking from 6 weeks onwards after your baby was born. However, if there are any pressing issues you are worried about you can certainly book sooner.

Q Can I bring my baby to my appointment?

Yes of course, all little humans are welcome to attend appointments with you.

Q Can I bring my baby to classes?

Our postnatal Pilates class, Sound Mamas, is the only class designed intentionally to allow you to bring your new little human with you. We just ask that they only come along while they are pre-crawling as it becomes unsafe in our studio once these little people are on the move.

Q Is there parking available and close by?

Yes we have parking either side of our practice and on all the streets surrounding us. The closest parking is paid parking but there are a few 2 hour free parking spots around if you’re lucky enough to grab one!

Q Can I claim for private health or Medicare rebates on site?

The simple answer is yes we have all the facilities on site to allow for private health and Medicate claiming at the time of your appointment. Claiming does however depend on the type of cover you have with your Private Health as to whether the service is included, and Medicare claiming does require a GP referral for either a Chronic Disease Management plan (CDM) or Mental Health Care plan (MHCP).
